Melody Malone was a series of books written by Amy Pond (WC: Rory's Story) and River Song. (TV: The Angels Take Manhattan)
The first of these books, Melody Malone: Private Detective in Old New York Town, was written by River, and was closely based on facts, being a record of Amy and Rory's last adventure with the Eleventh Doctor before they were catapulted back in time by the Weeping Angels; the central character of Melody Malone was revealed to be none other than River herself.
