Story notes

  • While holding the tissue sample, Sven remarks how it might be bubble wrap. This is a reference to the make up for the Wirrn in The Ark in Space, which many fans have noted is clearly bubble wrap painted green.
  • Sven estimates the Fourth Doctor's scarf was exposed to the space time continuum for about seven years, a nod to the fact that that the character starred in seven full televised seasons of Doctor Who.
