UNIT has been seconded to handle security at Breathe Industries’ revolutionary new air filtration plant. The Doctor is initially dismissive… but when a man seems to appear out of thin air and die, his curiosity is piqued.

Notes
- This marks the second appearance of the Daleks in The Third Doctor Adventures, after The Conquest of Far in Volume Three.
- Producer David Richardson gave Guy Adams a brief to write a story in which the UNIT team battle the Daleks. Adams' original script involved the team being sent back in time through Earth's history. Richardson felt it lacked enough "new" elements and suggested it be set in space instead. (BFX: Poison of the Daleks)
