The Embodiment Gris, more commonly known as the Embodiment of Gris, and once referred to as the Eminence Gris, was a mysterious entity who was Master of the Fifth Galaxy prior to the 41st century.
Zephon overthrew the Embodiment of Gris as Master of the Fifth Galaxy in 3932. (AUDIO: Neverland) Some time between then and 4000, the Embodiment of Gris tried to depose Zephon, but failed. (TV: The Daleks' Master Plan) Sara Kingdom listed the Eminence Gris as one of the many alien enemies that could threaten Earth in the year 4000. (AUDIO: The Guardian of the Solar System)
The Eighth Doctor and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart discovered the secret of the Embodiment of Gris during an adventure in Hong Kong in 1988. (PROSE: The Dying Days)
The Decayed Master once allied himself with the Embodiment of Gris, but was defeated by the Fourth Doctor. (PROSE: Cold Fusion)
The Embodiment of Gris enjoyed a rapport with the Nestene Consciousness, showering the Crown Consciousness with favours; some described it as a love. This ended when Nestenia was exposed to the edge of the Last Great Time War and an instantaneous "blizzard of Tick-tock" drove the Embodiment insane in one second. (PROSE: Revenge of the Nestene)
