The three remaining cadets are given 12 images of ''Doctor Who'' characters which they must sort into "friend" or "foe" by sticking them to the correct half of a divider board. There were 6 images in each category. They must complete this in the time available before the klaxon.

The 12th episode of Totally Doctor Who's first series premiered on the Thursday before the BBC One debut of Army of Ghosts. It featured Abisola Agbaje.

Due to coverage of the Wimbledon Championships on BBC One, this episode was broadcast on BBC Two.
