On 23 August, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1964 - Location filming for The Dalek Invasion of Earth began in London. This covered all the scenes of Barbara, Jenny and Dortmun avoiding the Dalek patrols in "Day of Reckoning". Also filmed were Dortmun's death scene and Barbara driving through the Dalek cordon. (TCH 4)
- 1967 - Pre-filming for The Abominable Snowmen began at Ealing Studios. (TCH 11)
- 2006 - Recording for Immortal Beloved took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2007 - Recording for The Vengeance of Morbius took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2018 - Recording for The Eighth Doctor: The Further Adventures of Lucie Miller: Volume One took place at the Moat Studios.
- 2019 - The Big Finish audio anthology The Twelfth Doctor Chronicles was recorded.
