War-Game was a Sixth Doctor comic published in Doctor Who Magazine. It is notable for the reappearance of the Draconians, who would be major players in the comics up until Frobisher's Story.
Summary

References
- The planet Actinon is coded in the TARDIS information system under "U-235".
- The Doctor wears a cork hat.
- Frobisher attempts to order a Manhattan, but he and the Doctor instead drink wine.
- Kaon's wife died in childbirth, but gave him a healthy daughter, Princess Kara, who he loves dearly and taught to become a warrior.
- The Draconians are noted to rule a third of the galaxy by the 82nd century.
Notes
- War-Game was the first Sixth Doctor DWM comic story published during the series' 18-month hiatus following TV: Revelation of the Daleks.
- This story was reprinted in Doctor Who Marvel Adventure Comic 3 and in Voyager.
Continuity
- The Draconians appear in this story, for the first time since their sole televised appearance, in TV: Frontier in Space. This incarnation of the Doctor would meet the Draconians again in AUDIO: Paper Cuts.
- Although not immediately evident here, Kaon met the Doctor previously during the Skeletoid crisis first seen in COMIC: Kane's Story. For the Doctor, these events would occur in reverse. The Time Lord would see the Draconian nobleman die, first, and meet him in his youth later.
- Frobisher's casual attitude to death will change by COMIC: Time Bomb. In no small part, as a result of the consequences of this adventure.
