The National Gallery was an art museum on Trafalgar Square in London. History
The First Doctor, Barbara Wright, Ian Chesterton and Vicki Pallister once arrived in London on 23 November 1963 to find the city frozen in time due to a TARDIS malfunction. The spot where they materialised was near the National Gallery, which they pointed out on the scanner upon arrival. (AUDIO: 1963)
In 1969, during the London Event, a horde of Robot Yeti emerged from the National Gallery when Spencer Pemberton escorted Edward Travers through Trafalgar Square. (PROSE: The Ambush!)
When the Twelfth Doctor was trapped in 1972, he visited the National Gallery with Maxwell and Jess Collins. In 2013, UNIT brought the Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald there to discuss a Zygon breach. It was there that a time fissure brought the Eleventh Doctor to 1562 England to meet his tenth incarnation.
