Catherine of Aragon was the first wife of Henry VIII. In 1509, Lover attempted to take her place in history by swallowing and impersonating Catherine on the eve of the wedding. She planned on altering time by giving birth to a healthy son who would have many descendants and keep the throne within Henry's family past 1752.
