Pinstripe


Pinstripes were a pattern of very thin stripes of any colour running in parallel often found in fashion.

The Tenth Doctor wore suits of pinstripe done on dark brown and light blue, (TV: The Christmas Invasion-The End of Time, The Day of the Doctor) or navy and crimson. (TV: Smith and Jones-Dreamland)

The Eleventh Doctor spent his first hours in the Tenth Doctor's brown and blue suit. (TV: The End of Time, The Eleventh Hour) He wore a burgundy pinstripe shirt under his first tweed blazer.
