Mind My Minions was a webcast which was first released in 2015. It featured Minions Bob, Kevin and Stuart in different desktops of the TARDIS. It was originally broadcast by BBC Radio 1 online.

Synopsis

The Minions are due on The One Show to talk about their new movie BUT they're in the WRONG PLACE (silly Minions). It's up to Greg James to get them to the studio in time... what could possibly go wrong? [1]

Plot

Greg James is finishing his show on BBC Radio 1 when he receives a phone call from Alex Jones. She tells him there are three Minions in the studio with him and asks him to escort them through the BBC Television Centre to the studio where The One Show is due to be recorded with the Minions as guests. Greg sees the Minions, but when he takes his eyes off them they disappear.

Greg chases the Minions through the BBC, where they interrupt a live broadcast on BBC Sport. The Minions then find a TARDIS and attempt to fly it. Their mistakes cause the TARDIS to regress into previous iterations of itself, transforming from the Twelfth Doctor's TARDIS into the First Doctor's and then the Tenth's. Greg follows the Minions into the TARDIS before finally ushering them out.

The Minions then disrupt the Philharmonic Orchestra and a live BBC News broadcast before Greg manages to herd them to the One Show recording on time. Finally, an exhausted Greg sits on the ground, where he finds a banana on the floor and eats it.

Worldbuilding

  • Before leaving the Tenth Doctor's TARDIS, Greg looks into the camera and says "I don't want to go", in reference to the final words spoken by the Tenth Doctor before his regeneration. (TV: The End of Time)
