The London Regiment offices in Battersea were a major base for the British Army in London. General Oliver Hamilton was based there. Following the London Event, Colonel Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, Major Walter Douglas, Corporal Sally Wright and Corporal Carol Bell were placed there too.
