The DWA Offices was an instalment of Who's Where?, published in DWA 100.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

It's the ultimate invasion - the offices of Doctor Who Adventures have been taken over by a villainous horde of monsters!

Their vile plan is to rewrite issue 100 and rename your favourite magazine Invading Alien Adventures! DWA fans, you won't let that happen, will you?

Todays task! The only way to stop the dastardly aliens is to find DWA's eight spare TARDIS keys, time-travel to yesterday and deliver the issue to the printers. Good luck!

Extra quest! Can you name all the Doctor Who characters in this picture?

Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The Tenth Doctor appears on a computer screen saying "Whatever you do, don't blink!"
  • A woman tells the Raxacoricofallapatorian that they will be sorry if they "parp" on her.
  • There is a box containing a pile of DWA back issues. Issue 1 is on top.
  • The Editor says he is now the editor of DWA. A woman tells him she is not being his deputy.
  • The Ood is carrying a cake with candles and the number 100 on it.
  • One computer screen has an advert from Clive Finch: "Have you seen this man? Contact Clive".
  • The editor (the actual editor of the magazine, not The Editor), is sitting in a chair that resembles that used by Davros.
  • The editor (again, not that editor), is holding a smart phone with the words "don't panic" on the screen.
  • The Cyberman says the DWA team will be deleted.
  • A Time Beetle is on the back of an office chair.
  • A man is reminded by seeing the Sontaran that he is having baked spuds for tea.
  • The Doctor's TARDIS is in the office.

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The eight TARDIS keys are located:
    • Inside Dalek Caan's tank.
    • Atop the pile of DWA back issues.
    • Near the computer monitor with the Wire on it.
    • On the A4 folder being carried by the blond-haired man.
    • Sticking out of the cake the Ood is carrying.
    • Atop the TARDIS.
    • On the computer screen displaying Clive Finch's advert.
    • On the rim of the editor's chair.
  • The Doctor Who Adventures staff members are not explicitly identified within the image, although at least two educated guesses can be made:
    • The man sitting in Davros' chair has a place card in front of him with "Editor" written on it indicating, coupled with the physical resemblance, that he is likely intended to be Moray Laing.
    • The Wire says "Yoohoo! Mr Clarke!" while looking down at a bald man crouching on the floor, possibly art editor Steve Clarke.
