  • Target Books republishes DWN: Doctor Who and the Talons of Weng-Chiang with new cover art and a slightly revised title (now Doctor Who - The Talons of Weng-Chiang). This was the last reissue of this nature by Target, ending a program it began in 1990.
  • 17 - NA: Tragedy Day is first published.
    • VD: Decalog is first published by Virgin Publishing. Discounting the Annuals, this is the first professionally published and licenced Doctor Who short story collection.
