Behind the scenes

  • In The Daleks' Master Plan, the entity is referred to as "the Embodiment Gris", but as "the Embodiment of Gris" in all subsequent stories.
  • The expression "éminence grise" refers to a person who exercises power or influence in a certain sphere without holding an official position.
