Alternate timelines

Cracked timeline

A cracked timeline was created when a group of Goblins travelled back in time. The goblins took Ruby Sunday, who had been left as a baby outside the church on Ruby Road, and ate her aboard their ship. (TV: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (TV story)"])

Rubathon Blue

Rubathon Blue was a counterpart of Ruby from an alternate timeline created when Ruby stepped on a butterfly in prehistoric Wyoming, 150 million years in her relative past. She was not human, having scales and antennae, and identified herself as a member of the 57th Hemisphere Hatchlings. Rubathon was haughty, speaking in a posh accent and believing herself incapable of making mistakes, and she threatened to kill the Doctor when she thought he was accusing her of such. The Doctor negated Rubathon's timeline by reviving the butterfly. (TV: Space Babies [+]Loading...["Space Babies (TV story)"])

Encountering Roger ap Gwilliam

The Doctor landed the TARDIS on the South Wales coast, and was delighted that he was in Wales. He started to tell Ruby that he loved the Welsh but started to warn her about Roger ap Gwilliam, before realising it was a spoiler for her immediate future. Not paying attention he walked into a fairy circle disrupting it. After she started reading the offerings, he vanished. She started to see a woman but couldn't get closer to her. She asked a passing Hiker where in Wales she was, Glyngatwg and to talk the woman but couldn't get an answer. She walked to the town and entered a pub Y Pren Marw, encountering the patrons, who took the mick out of her for her naïve attitude to the Welsh people. She made her way back to her family's house in London, she told her mother about the Women. Her mother abandoned her after she talk to the women. A year after loosing the Doctor, she was approached by Kate Stewart who wanted to help her and UNIT tried to help learn more about the entity, but she was abandoned by them as well. Living her life day by day she settled down in her new life, until her 40s where Roger ap Gwilliam started campaigning. Remembering what the Doctor said about him, she joined his campaign to learn more about him. Realising that he would use the nuclear codes, she used the women to scare him away. She then lived the rest of her life, eventually consoling herself in old age before being confronted by the Woman, undoing the timeline. (TV: 73 Yards [+]Loading...["73 Yards (TV story)"])
