In 1559, Elizabeth I was crowned Queen (Regnant) of England. An unknown incarnation of the Doctor, but presumably no later than his third, attended the coronation. (DW: The Curse of Peladon) He thought the coronation dinner was good, until Essex started throwing drumsticks around. (NA: Cat's Cradle: Witch Mark) At the end of her life, in 1603, Elizabeth recalled to John Dee she had met the Doctor at her coronation.
