On 4 April 1938, River Song, under the pseudonym "Melody Malone", investigated Weeping Angels in New York City, where she met her father Rory Williams, who had been sent back in time by the Angels, and, later, her husband and mother. By creating a temporal paradox, River's parents wiped out a hotel full of Angels who used the building to "farm" humans they could send back in time. All of them were returned to 2012, from where the Doctor, Amy and Rory had come. (TV: The Angels Take Manhattan)
On Easter Sunday, 4 April 2009, Lady Christina de Souza stole the Cup of Athelstan from the International Gallery and made her getaway on a number 200 London bus, only to be unexpectedly transported to the planet of San Helios, by means of a wormhole, in the company of the Tenth Doctor. Eventually, the Doctor flew the damaged bus back through the wormhole, and Christina made her escape from the police on the now-flying bus. (TV: Planet of the Dead)
