A few minutes later, thirteen-year-old Sarah Jane Smith's best friend Andrea Yates fell off a pier and drowned. The Trickster appeared and coaxed Andrea to switch places with Sarah Jane, creating an alternate timeline where she died instead. After spending over forty years in the altered timeline, Andrea revoked her deal with the Trickster and allowed herself to perish once again, restoring the original course of the timeline. While Shaun Brett's father fled, Tulung's father used dynamite to destroy the creature.
