On 27 August, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred: 1964 - Location filming for The Dalek Invasion of Earth continued. The scene of the Dalek emerging from the water and the Roboman committing suicide by walking into the river were filmed. Also filmed were the scenes of Robomen walking along the wharf and First Doctor and his companions exiting the TARDIS. (TCH 4)
- 1969 - Tailor Arthur Davey made the Third Doctor's season 7 costume based on costumer Christine Rawlins' designs.
- 2000 - Recording for The Stone's Lament took place.
- 2015 - Recording of The Horror at Bletchington Station and The Warren Legacy took place at Ladbroke Audio.
