July was a month in which a number of events important to the production of Doctor Who and its spin-offs occurred.
- 2005 - The episode Queen Victoria was retitled Tooth and Claw at this point. (DWMSE 14)
- 2005 - The shooting script for Rise of the Cybermen, then titled Parallel World Part 1, was prepared. (DWMSE 14)
- 2005 - In a meeting in late July, Russell T Davies and Tom MacRae "broke the story" of what would eventually be Rise of the Cybermen and The Age of Steel into "pieces" and "reassembled it". In doing so, they moved away from the initial inspiration of Marc Platt's Spare Parts. (DWMSE 14)
- 2017 - SFX producer Kate Walshe became Millennium FX's third company director, alongside founder Neill Gorton and co-director Rob Mayor.
- 2020 - Big Finish's Bernice Summerfield audio anthology The Christmas Collection was recorded remotely.
