"Sontar-ha!" was p a rase used by the Sontarans, typically as a chant.

History

During the Last Great Time War, Jask exclaimed "Sontar-ha!" when he found the Eighth Doctor and Sarana Teel. (AUDIO: The Sontaran Ordeal)

In 102, the chant was heard within the Underhenge the Eleventh Doctor and his companions Amy Pond and River Song; Stonehenge had picked up transmissions from four Sontaran Battle Fleets among the the Alliance. (TV: The Pandorica Opens)

In 1893, Commander Strax used the phrase as he used his Sontaran blaster to attack Winifred Gillyflower's followers. (TV: The Crimson Horror) He later used the phrase repeatedly while brawling with Archie in Glasgow. (TV: The Name of the Doctor)

In 2009, aboard the flagship of the Tenth Sontaran Battle Fleet, General Staal rallied his men in performing the chant as the Sontaran invasion of Earth commenced. Luke Rattigan, a human collaborator, also joined in the chant. (TV: The Sontaran Stratagem) Soon after, Staal initiated the chant while speaking to the Tenth Doctor, much to his dismay as he used his sonic screwdriver to terminate UNIT's communication with the Sontaran flagship. Later, Staal and his men, demonstrating that they did not fear death, chanted even as the Doctor, now aboard the flagship, threatened to use an atmospheric converter to destroy them all. Ultimately, however, the Doctor's place was exchanged with Luke via teleport pod. As the Sontarans ceased their chanting, Luke exclaimed "Sontar-ha!" before activating the converter to Staal's lament as the flagship was destroyed. (TV: The Poison Sky)

Commander Kaagh, a survivor of the Tenth Sontaran Battle Fleet, exclaimed "Sontar-ha!" when he appeared before Sarah Jane Smith and her friends on Earth. He proceeded to utter the phrase on several instances during their confrontation. Shortly after Kaagh was knocked out by Chrissie Jackson, Clyde Langer exclaimed the phrase jokingly. Kaagh used the phrase as he took himself and Wormwood through a portal leading to Horath. (TV: Enemy of the Bane)
