Adam (Unbound Universe)
In the Unbound Universe, Adam was an Englishman who lived in Hong Kong in 1997. He was romantically involved with Ling and a friend to Marcus.
On the day that Hong Kong was to be turned over to China, Adam and Marcus met the recently exiled Doctor after being kicked out of a pub, bringing him to the Little England, Adam giving the Time Lord enough money to order something, noting that the currency would be worthless in a day's time. After placing the drunk Marcus in a taxi, Adam and Ling retrated to a hill for intimacy only a cloaked plane to crash on the hill. After the delirious pilot had stumbled out, the Doctor and Lethbridge-Stewart sent Adam and Ling to find the passenger, Adam stumbling upon the burnt remains of the Master witnessing the Time Lord's regeneration. The Master subsequently slew Adam and swapped clothing with him, burning the human's corpse to act as a decoy. Adam's body was recovered by the UNIT team sent to retrieve the Master who brought his remains, which they mistook for the Master's, to the local monastery. (AUDIO: Sympathy for the Devil)
