Ling

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

In the Unbound Universe, Ling worked for Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart in his pub, the Little England, in Hong Kong in 1997. She was close to Adam.

On the day that Hong Kong was due to be handed over to China, Adam and Ling retreated to a nearby hill for sex before the Master's plane crashed nearby. After being confronted by the plane's delirious pilot, the Doctor and the Brigadier arrived, sending Adam and Ling to find the passenger, the two finding the Master in time to see his regeneration. The Master then slew Adam for his clothing to the horror of Ling who passed out.

Brought to the nearby temple, Ling told the Doctor about the Master's regeneration before Adam's body was recovered by UNIT. When the Master opened the soul jar and claimed the parasite, Ling was the first to fall under its influence, imprisoning the Doctor, the Brigadier and Colonel Brimmicombe-Wood along with the UNIT troops and the monks. When the Master and the Doctor later worked out a deal, Ling was left behind at the temple when the group left to dispose of the parasite. Though Ling wondered what was happening, the abbot assured that there had to be a good reason. (AUDIO: Sympathy for the Devil)
