On 7 October, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1967 - Episode five of The Abominable Snowmen was recorded at Lime Grove Studios D. (TCH 11)
- 1994 - Writer Robert deLaurentis submitted the first draft of his version of the storyline for the 1996 TV movie, adapted from John Leekley's 24 August script. In this new adaptation, the Doctor finds out that his father is involved in a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler, and meets up with him a half a century later. He completed a draft script based on this storyline on 17 December.
- 2001 - Recording for The Greatest Shop in the Galaxy took place.
- 2007 - Filming for Time Crash took place at the Upper Boat Studios.
- 2013 - Recording for Starborn took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2016 - Big Finish's The Companion Chronicles audio anthology The First Doctor: Volume Two was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2019 - Recording for Heritage 3 took place.
- 2020 - Recording for Jago & Litefoot: Series Fourteen took place.
