Notes

• Vastra takes a seven-per-cent bone solution to intimidate Skark and his troops into submission, a reference to the seven-per-cent cocaine solution Sherlock Holmes takes in the short story A Scandal In Bohemia. Cocaine and other narcotic stimulants are a common downtime for Holmes when not involved in criminal cases, which would give him the intellectual stimulation he so distinctly craves - as the power of the solution and it's source continue to tempt Vastra throughout this story.
