In August 2008 Alan Jackson and his daughter Maria moved into 36 Bannerman Road. Within days, a genetically engineered boy appearing as a teenager was adopted by Sarah Jane Smith and moved into 13 Bannerman Road under the name Luke Smith. Ealing, like the rest of the Earth, was destroyed by The Trickster after resident Sarah Jane Smith was lured into changing the timeline in north suburban Foxgrove on 18 August 1951.
