Jean Veber was a 19th century French painter.

In 1896 he made the painting The Doll-maker. A man impersonating him was recruited by Montague for the Family. He later had his mind displaced and his body inhabited by Emil Montfalcon's consciousness. (PROSE: The Death of Art)
