Melody Malone was a series of books written by Amy Pond (WC: Rory's Story) and River Song. (TV: The Angels Take Manhattan)

The first novel in the series. (TV: The Angels Take Manhattan)

The first of these books, Melody Malone: Private Detective in Old New York Town, was written by River, and was closely based on facts, being a record of Amy and Rory's last adventure with the Eleventh Doctor before they were catapulted back in time by the Weeping Angels; the central character of Melody Malone was revealed to be none other than River herself. The afterword was later written by Amy, under the name of Amelia Williams, who had it published on River's behalf. (TV: The Angels Take Manhattan) By 1946, Amy had written other books for the series.
