Individual episode coverage[[edit source]]

I'll start by saying that Doctor Doctor is probably right to be covered here, no objections from me. What I'm not sold on is the level of coverage that Saturday Mash-Up is apparently set to get.

The Doctor Doctor page's episode list is a neat table where the corresponding SMU episode is also included, which is a good idea. But, wait, the SMU titles are deadlinks? Now hold on a minute… are these really needed? Surely nothing else in each episode is relevant to us except for the sketches? WaltK 18:40, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

It's an extension of the logic by which we cover short stories that have appeared in non-DWU anthologies. We still give the anthologies pages, even if only one or two of the short stories in it have DWU elements. The same applies to this situation. Only because it's every week, we're going to end up with a page for every episode of series 7 of this thing. Which does seem a bit excessive. Aquanafrahudy 📢 🖊️ 18:48, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
Although I was a little uncertain initially, I do think the above logic makes sense, and is also in-line with the link to The Muppets Take the O2 that I added on The Stolen Mirth [+]Loading...["The Stolen Mirth (stage play)"] - it's also worth noting some minor BTS relating to Doctor Doctor does appear in these episodes, with the actors in-costume, as well as fanart in at least the latest episode (see here). No offence but… I don't see the logic. An anthology of different fictional narratives is one thing, but this… this would be like if we covered every single edition of the old CBBC children's block that contained broadcasts of The Sarah Jane Adventures or Totally Doctor Who. I'd say it's more akin to having a page on an episode of Blue Peter that happened to feature an original Doctor Who sketch. (In fact, having pages on Doctor Who-themed episodes of Blue Peter that don't have any fictive content would probably be within policy as well, come to think of it, though it's somewhat hard to achieve in retrospect due to the ephemeral nature of the programme). Although of course you could argue that Saturday Mash-Up! is a programming slot rather than a programme in its own right, certainly the vast majority of things seem to align with the latter position, and I'd be inclined to agree.
