Marshal or Marshall has several meanings pertinent to the Doctor Who universe and the real world. It is both a rank and a name used by many individuals. They are listed below in alphabetical order by surname. If no surname is available, alphabetisation occurs by the disambiguation term — that is, the bit between the parentheses in a title like Waitress (Vincent and the Doctor).
Within the DWU, the rank is preferred by some human militaries on Earth, but it is more often characterised as a higher rank in the Sontaran and Ice Warrior hierarchies.
