Destroy Space City was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article instead made reference to the Fireball XL5 comic story The Syntex Mystery, which was a crossover with the DWU.

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- As news of the landing of "monster creatures" in Space City reached the outside world, the President called an emergency meeting of the World Security Council. According to official sources, Commander Zero and Professor Matic pleaded with the President to allow the bombardment of the creature to continue but he instead ordered a full scale cobalt bomb attack.
- As Backlash bombers from Unity City's main airfield scream overhead on their journey of war, all civilian and military personnel are being evacuated from Space City Island.
- Astro-biologists of the main space laboratories are frantically searching their files and records for information on the invaders. So far their searches have drawn a blank as the species is totally unknown to Earth.
- Latest reports from the Pacific claim that International Rescue's Thunderbird 2 has vanished. Nobody is sure whether the giant transporter plane has been blasted from the sky but to add to the confusion tracking stations report an unidentified craft in orbit around the globe.
Story notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This story is another crossover with Fireball XL5 and Thunderbirds.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- According to Professor Matic, the monsters reached Earth from their unknown homeworld in meteorite-type spacecrafts. (COMIC: The Syntex Mystery, PROSE: "We Want Thunderbirds!")
- Matic advised World President Nikita Bandranaik to continue the bombardment on the creature because he believes that there is little hope of learning anything about them until one of the membranes is destroyed and dissected. (COMIC: The Syntex Mystery)
