In 1769, the future Duke of Wellington was born in Dublin to an influential, if hard-up, aristocratic Anglo-Irish family. His name was Wesley – the Honourable Arthur Wesley, to be precise. On 16 November 1996, the famous girl group the Blood Honeys "spontaneously" came together in their first performance at the Tripod nightclub on Harcourt Street. Nineteen-year-old Donna Noble, in the city for a hen night, was unsuccessful at persuading her friends to go to Tripod as the club had been holding a pop music night, thus missing the event.
When Donna began travelling with the Tenth Doctor, she asked him to take her to Tripod so she could see the performance, whereupon they discovered that the Blood Honeys had fallen under the influence of three exiled psirens who hoped to use the band to conquer the Earth.
