Scott Tracy was a member of International Rescue and the pilot of Thunderbird 1.

In an account dated to January 1965, Scott was with his family on Tracy Island when Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward, who had been kidnapped, attempted to contact them. After the connection was lost, Scott noted that she was trying to tell them something about a bomb and suggested his father Jeff Tracy use the code signal to try and re-establish communication because nobody else present with Lady Penelope would be able to understand it. When a threat to Penelope's life was confirmed, he launched Thunderbird 1. Taking fifteen minutes to reach the danger zone, Scott then operated the craft's sonar sounding in order to locate the criminals' escape submarine. The initial search proved fruitless but Scott continued in a widening circle before the target was found with seven minutes until detonation. As Gordon tried to drill into the submarine to release a tranquiliser, Scott kept him updated with how much time they had left. Upon his success, Gordon retrieved the blueprints which the gang had stolen while Scott reported in with Jeff before going to untie and free Lady Penelope from the boathouse in which she was left to die. In an account dated to August 2088, International Rescue launched Thunderbird 1 in a desperate attempt to save two men trapped in a Canadian forest. The fire was part of a plan to kill industrialist Jack Farrel but proved too tough for Canada's emergency services with the question remaining if Scott could get there in time. In March 2089, it was reported that the Tracys were pursuing the arsonist, Sam Lincoln, into the heart of the fire after he stole one of their rescue machines. (PROSE: Captain Black Surrenders)
In March 2066, Thunderbird 1 arrived in Kenya to join the search for Doctor Adams but Thunderbird 2 went missing. According to TV 21's radio monitoring system, Scott requested TB 2's assistance in the search with the call being acknowledged by International Rescue's base. However, since then, nothing had been heard from the craft. (PROSE: Thunderbird Two) According to another account, Adams' jet crashed in September 2089. During the heat crisis of 2066, he investigated the sudden eruption of a volcano in Wales. Jeff told him that Brains had gone up to Thunderbird 5 to further look into the phenomenon. Scott listened in to his father's meeting with World President Nikita Bandranaik from Thunderbird 1. As the crisis progressed, Scott controlled many rescue operations on Earth. On more than one occasion, he checked up with Jeff on how Thunderbird 3's journey to the Sun was going. After contact was lost with TB 3 when it crash-landed on Venus, Jeff sent Scott and TB 1 on a rescue mission. Upon finally entering the dense gas clouds surrounding the planet, Scott spotted Brains' and Alan's bonfire but immediately flew into the path of a lake monster. (COMIC: Solar Danger) Scott's arrival and this fresh danger were both mentioned in a report dated 12 November. (PROSE: Disaster!) He was able to ignite TB 1's motors to full power to escape its clutches and fired on the creature to kill it, before joining Brains and Alan on the land. After Virgil and Gordon made it in Thunderbird 2 and Thunderbird 4, Scott helped to coordinate the recovery of TB 3. He told Virgil they had to risk a blow back of the winch systems after TB 2 received damage in a meteor shower. Scott, Alan, and Gordon helped to replenish TB 3's isotope stocks before, two days later, all four Thunderbirds on Venus set course for the base on Tracy Island. (COMIC: Solar Danger)
When the Fireflash Mk II was hijacked on its maiden flight in 2069, Thunderbird 1 and Thunderbird 2 were able to intercept the aircraft and force it down just inside the Bereznik border after following a signal from a tracking device in Jeff's luggage, who was aboard as a VIP passenger. However, it was believed the hijacker had arranged a rendezvous at the border and so the Fireflash itself soon became "a fortress heavily defended by machine gun fire" with the two Thunderbirds standing sentinel alongside. The demands of the hijackers, who were in cahoots with the Hood, were for all four Thunderbird craft plus their designer and fifty billion dollars. If these specifications were not met it was suspected they planned to deliberately explode the atomic reactor of the Fireflash. (PROSE: Stalemate!)

Scott Tracy originates from the television series Thunderbirds where he was played by Shane Rimmer in the entire run of thirty-two episodes, as well as the two films.
