At the start of COMIC: Blood Invocation ^[+]Loading...["Blood Invocation (comic story)"], Nyssa steps out of the Doctor's TARDIS with Tegan and points out that she is ill.
Tegan is given medicine by the Fifth Doctor.
Tegan wakes up a little later in her TARDIS bedroom.
Tegan looks at her reflection in her bedroom mirror.
Tegan is attacked by the vampire.
The vampirised Tegan finds the Doctor in the control room.
"Tegan, no!"
The Doctor holds Tegan back with a psychic shield made of his faith in her true self.
Vampire-Tegan cowers on the floor.
The Doctor faces the vampire from across the time rotor, with Tegan hissing behind him.
Tegan returns to normal once the vampire is destroyed, and is helped to her feet by the Doctor.
