An unnamed sketch aired on the British comedy-variety series The Lily Savage Show featuring Paul O'Grady as alter-ego Lily Savage, portraying the Doctor.
Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]
The TARDIS materialises on an unknown planet, and the Doctor exclaims that it’s “on the blink again”. When the Doctor and Gayle step out, they begin examining their surroundings to work out where they’ve landed. They find themselves on a desolate, low-gravity planet, with concrete structures and no signs of intelligent lifeforms. Gayle suggests they’ve arrived at Milton Keynes, but the Doctor reveals that they’re on one of the twin planets of Gonad. They decide to explore some more, and bring K-Y along with them.
The trio visit a shop, where they meet some old cyberman friends. K-Y makes a mess on the floor (in this case a pile of nuts and bolts), and the Doctor apologises on his behalf. Gayle suggests the Doctor could do with a makeover, and takes her to the beauty counter where they seek advice from a female Dalek. The Dalek tells the Doctor to “Exfoliate! Exfoliate!”.
Back at the TARDIS, the Doctor and Gayle look at what they bought from the shop. The Doctor suddenly gets a pain in her side, and suggests they head into the TARDIS for a cup of tea. As they go in, the pair discuss where to head next. They both agree to visit Majorca, and sing to each other as the TARDIS dematerialises.
