On 14 May, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1966 - "Johnny Ringo" was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1966 - Part six of TV Comic story The Trodos Tyranny was first published.
- 1977 - Part one of TV Comic story Kling Dynasty was first published.
- 1980 - Part five of Doctor Who Weekly comic story Doctor Who and the Dogs of Doom and part one of Yonder... The Yeti were first published.
- 1984 - Revenge of the Cybermen was released on VHS.
- 1996 - The Doctor Who TV movie was first broadcast on Fox, the first televised story since 1989's Survival and the last before 2005's Rose. The story was released on VHS the same day.
- 2005 - Father's Day was first broadcast on BBC One. Later, Time Trouble aired on BBC Three.
- 2008 - Doctor Who: Battles in Time comic story Merchant of Menace was first published.
- 2008 - DWC 6 was first published by IDW Publishing.
- 2009 - Doctor Who Adventures comic story The Slakken Cat was first published.
- 2011 - The Doctor's Wife was first broadcast on BBC One. Later, Bigger on the Inside aired on BBC Three.
