The Series 4: Campfire trailer was a narrative trailer advertising the fourth series of Doctor Who and the return of Donna Noble as a companion, who was last seen in The Runaway Bride.
Prior to the trailers release three 10 second teasers, each focusing on a different monster, began airing from 22 March 2008. The monsters featured were the Ood, the Sontarans and the Daleks.
On 22 June 2008, a fourth teaser focusing on the Supreme Dalek began airing to publicise The Stolen Earth.
There are things waiting in the darkness. Creatures of metal, fire and blood. But he's out there burning through time; facing a thousand dangers across the stars and never giving up. He looks like a man but he's a legend, and his name is The Doctor. He'll come back to save us and this time I'm gonna be ready. Then, just like that... (poof) we'll be gone.
