- Prisoner: The Next Generation (PROSE: Time of Your Life) and Danger on the Frontier: the Next Generation (PROSE: Walking to Babylon) are parodies of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
- John de Lancie, David Warner, Alexander Siddig, William Morgan Sheppard, Maurice Roëves, Jim Norton, Barrie Ingham, John Franklyn-Robbins, George Murdock, Benito Martinez, Van Epperson, Carolyn Seymour and Rosalyn Landor all appeared in the series.
Doctor Who crossover
Star Trek: The Next Generation had a crossover with Doctor Who in the form of Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation², a comic mini-series by IDW Publishing. It began publication on 30 May 2012 in North America. It was the first licensed crossover between Doctor Who and the Star Trek franchise.
