Farraday (Sphere of Freedom)
Lieutenant Farraday was a member of the British Army in 1959 who served under Captain Halloran and was dispatched to deal with an invasion of Roman Centurions in Piccadilly Circus. He briefly became an ally of the Ninth Doctor.
Farraday was stationed in London to prevent the public from entering the Romans' territory and allowed Halloran and the Doctor entry under his pretence of being from the War Office. Halloran told him to accompany the Doctor back to the TARDIS against the Doctor's wishes, but he was captured by a time eddy as he did so and was transported to a far future arena where he was forced to fight a robot gladiator. He was later rescued by the Doctor and Nova on their mission to stop Audrey Mohinson from using the time eddies and was quickly joined by Halloran and the Roman Marcus Aurelius Gallius. Landing on the Sphere of Freedom, the group progressed without the Doctor and Farraday helped create a distraction so Nova could activate a set of drones and destroy the time particles. However, in doing so, the time eddies went out of control and captured the Doctor, and Farraday was forced to watch as the Ravagers that they were holding back started destroying the universe.
When the Doctor changed the timeline to stop the Ravagers for good at an earlier point in time, the retroactive fixes to time meant that none of the events with the Romans in London had ever happened. (AUDIO: Food Fight)
