Rhea (mythology)

In Greek mythology, Rhea was a Titan and the wife of Cronus. She overthrew her husband, who swallowed all of his children except Zeus. (PROSE: Fallen Gods, The End Times)

In Roman mythology, Rhea was the wife of Saturn. Long before the 1st century BC, she defeated Saturn, who had swallowed all but one of his children. In the 1st century BC, when Saturn tried to incite Roman slaves to rebellion during Saturnalia, Rhea, in the form of a little girl, used the Seventh Doctor and Ace to help her defeat him again. (PROSE: The Best of Days)
