Radiation Hazard! was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article made reference to the Thunderbirds comic story City of Doom and the Department S comic story The Big Tip-Off!, which were crossovers with the DWU.
Summary
A report from Unity City details that Project City, a secret community in the Andes inhabited by a team of scientists unaware of the dangers lurking outside, is threatened with total obliteration as radiation surrounds the area. Younger immediately orders that a representative of International Rescue be summoned to the world capital so the organisation can be briefed on the situation and potentially launch a rescue attempt.
Meanwhile, a Spectrum communique reveals to TV 21 that the Mysterons have already made good on their threat to paralyse Earth's space traffic by claiming several more victims in their war of nerves. With Captains Scarlet and Grey already investigating Mysteron activtiy at an space communication station located in the Sinai Desert, Captain Blue is assigned to inspect Earth's other space communication station in Sweden.
Finally, Department S agent Jason King is attacked by a brawling mob in the heart of London's docklands. News of this altercation quickly reaches TV 21 who provide a full report on the incident.
