On 3 June, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1966 - Episode four of The Savages was recorded at Riverside Studios 1. (TCH 8)
- 1967 - Episode four of The Evil of the Daleks was recorded at Lime Grove Studios D. (TCH 10)
- 1969 - Robert Holmes was commissioned by Terrance Dicks to write a full script for the serial then known as Facsimile. The serial was, by mid-September, renamed Spearhead from Space.

- 2001 - Big Finish's Dalek Empire audio story The Human Factor was recorded at The Moat Studios.
- 2007 - The Big Finish audio story The Catalyst was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2008 - The Big Finish audio story The Mists of Time was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2021 - Big Finish announced the audio anthology Peladon.
