Talk:Decayed Master

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Does this warrant merging?

If this is the Master merely stripped of his Tremas body, does this truly count as a separate incarnation from "UNIT Years"? Memnarc talk to me 01:57, February 29, 2012 (UTC)

Main image

Okay, so the main image, then. This image is pretty but a T:GTI non-starter — nowhere near cropped-in enough, facing and looking the wrong way. I've replaced it with the best I could come up with under the circumstances, but it's not great. Let's try to find something better.

In terms of setting parameters, I do think, unless a really compelling case otherwise emerges, that we should try to find a shot of Beevers, not Pratt; he's played the part longer, and, in-universe, the Decayed Master spends longer looking like him than like the more skeletal Pratt version. Are there any good images available on Big Finish covers, and would these even be able to be considered? I know he began life on TV but the majority of his material is now in audio form, and I believe it would open up more options if you want to find more Beevers photos? Where possible, we're supposed to use "in-universe" images. That is, from TV or a comic rather than an audio cover. Jack "BtR" Saxon 21:28, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
But we can still use one, if we have to in the case television screenshots are exhausted. However, what we can use without issue are screenshots from Big Finish webcasts (and in an ideal world, trailers) and from the interior artwork of a CD release. 21:35, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

Why "Decayed" and not "Decaying"?

Hello I was just wondering why this Master is referred to as Decayed when they been referred to as Decaying? As I understand it, this incarnation is not simply in a decayed form, their in a constant state of decay, to the point every body they possesses via the Deathworm will slowly degenerating back into this persona, then continuing on until their eventual death if they do nothing to prolong their life. Sorry if I'm just arguing semantics, I was just curious.
