Tales of the TARDIS is a spin-off series of Doctor Who in six parts which was created as part of the 60th Anniversary of the show and added as part of The Whoniverse, a new home on BBC iPlayer for all DWU content.

The spin-off was overseen by showrunner Russell T Davies along with Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter. Sam Watts, who was composer on The Sarah Jane Adventures, returned to score the episodes of this spin-off series.
