History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Rise and fall[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Raxas Alliance was once the envy of its galaxy and a "commercial paradise", boasting economic stability and trade agreements with every major system. Raxacoricofallapatorius was the most admired planet in the alliance, with Clom, Clix and Raxacoricovarlonpatorius all taking their lead from them. On Raxacoricofallapatorius, the Blathereen were one of the most respected families while the Jinglatheen were in control of the alliance. However, this changed when the Slitheen bribed their way into power before commiting atrocities which ruined their planet's good name and tainted the entire alliance. The result of their actions were trade sanctions, economic collapse and civil war.

As the economy crashed, the rest of the population rose up and deposed the Slitheen. By order of the High Council of Raxas Prime, the Slitheen were charged with crimes against the state, fraud, theft, and high treason. (TV: The Gift, COMIC: Doctormania) The Slitheen were forced out by the Judoon and opposed by their fellow families including the Blathereen, the Hostrozeen, (TV: Revenge of the Slitheen) the Hazrateen, (AUDIO: The Taste of Death) and the Jinglatheen. (COMIC: Doctormania) While some faced justice, others fled to the farthest corners of the galaxy. (TV: The Gift)

The misfortune brought to the Raxas Alliance by the Slitheen resulted in the people of Raxacoricofallapatorius being blamed by the other member races and suffering racist abuse. (COMIC: Doctormania) The Abzorbaloff, for one, voiced his distaste for the Raxacoricofallapatorians in 2007. (TV: Love & Monsters)

Peace conference[[edit] | [edit source]]

A peace conference in 3764 was the last-ditch attempt to restore peace and prosperity. Gleda Ley-Sooth Marka Jinglatheen, Senior Envoy of Raxacoricofallapatorius, took a ship to Gharusa Prime, where she met with whom she believed to be the Ninth Doctor, who was recognised for his part in ridding the galaxy of "the Slitheen scourge" and ending the Last Great Time War. Appealing for the Doctor's assistance in brokering peace in the Raxas Alliance, Gleda offered the contents of the Raxasian vaults. Taking Rose Tyler with him, "the Doctor" accompanied Gleda to Clix as a keynote speaker addressing the delegates of the Raxas Alliance. Whilst there, Gleda endured racist abuse from a delegate from Raxacoricovarlonpatorius. During the address, Rose revealed that "the Doctor" was actually a female Slitheen. This was immediately confirmed by a body scan, after which Gleda destroyed her skin suit, exposing her true form.

In response to this deception, Gleda initated a Grand Raxian Hunt, the first in decades, with the quarry being the Slitheen and Rose, the "human accomplice". Alongside the Clixians and the Raxacoricovarlonpatorians, the Raxacoricofallapatorians participated in this hunt, which was observed by Gleda at the Clix Conference Center alongside Ambassador Mipa of Raxacoricovarlonpatorius and a Clixian technician. For the purposes of "atmosphere" and "drama", Gleda had the technician "whip up a storm". However, the resulting rain's acid content had deadly effects on the participating Raxacoricofallapatorians. Before weather control could respond, an explosion occured, killing the technician. Coming to, Gleda branded this incident an attack on Raxacoricofallapatorians, turning the blame to Clix or Raxacoricovarlonpatorius.

Making contact with the orbital weather control, Gleda was answered by the real Doctor and his companions. As the Doctor had uncovered, Gleda had a Jinglatheen death-squad transmated to the station, where they slaughtered the Clixian operators in a plot to sacrifice thousands of Raxacoricofallapatorians so the Jinglatheen could play on the sympathy the atrocity would bring and regain control of the Alliance. Killing Ambassador Mipa, Gleda attempted to prevent the truth coming out by shutting down communications from the satellite. However, Slist Fayflut Marteveerthon Slitheen, the Slitheen imposter, exposed the Jinglatheen plot by hacking the Galacticnet. Gleda attempted to escape but was stopped by the Doctor and his company, who used the TARDIS to intercept her. Gleda was then taken into custody by the Raxacoricofallapatorians. (COMIC: Doctormania)
