From Special Agent Peter Ayliffe was a 21 short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe.

It marked the first implied interaction between humanity and the early Dalek Empire, both chronologically and within the pages of TV Century 21; thus far, the status quo had been that the Space News Agency were monitoring Skaro from afar, but its agents had not attempted to actually contact the emerging species.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

After Agent Peter Ayliffe of the Universal Secret Service writes to Twenty One to propose an Identicode for the Dalek Emperor, another agent is sent to Skaro to inform the Emperor of his new designation, but humanity soon finds out just how opposed the Daleks really are to diplomatic relations.

Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • Ayliffe has recently become an agent and has invented the new Identicode.
  • Ayliffe wishes that the Identicode be printed in TV 21 "if the Emperor likes it," so that it can be used by other agents.
  • According to Twenty One, Agent 0031 was assigned to take the Identicode to the Emperor but he "hasn't been heard of since".
