United Kingdom (Earth-616)
A version of the United Kingdom, known in full as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, existed in Earth-616. At one point, it had a population of 60,776,000. It was a democratic constitutional monarchy, its major languages were English, Welsh, Scottish, and Gaelic. Its monetary unit was the British pound.
London was the UK and English capital. The UK contained Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Notable locations included Braddock Manor, Buckingham Palace, Camelot, Darkmoor, Giants Causeway, Garrett Castle, Greymoor Castle, Hadrian's Wall, Loch Fear, Loch Ness, Muir Island, Stonehenge, and the World.
Its defences included the British Army, Royal Navy, and the Royal Air Force. It was a permanant member of the United Nations Security Council, and belonged to UNESCO, the European Union, G-8, Interpol, SHIELD, NATO, and the World Health Organisation.
