Rumours

  • Davros returns, with the Daleks in this episode, and its prequel.
  • Some speculate that Davros, or the Daleks is trapped under the rift at the Medusa Cascade which is the reason that the Doctor sealed it.
  • According to The Sun newspaper, a red Dalek will appear at Davros's side.
  • Before the Master died he opened the Medusa Cascade and then transfered his soul into his ring which was consequently picked up by Harriet Jones. Harriet now knowing the power of the ring released Davros was forced to become/willingly became a Dalek.
  • The Doctor will have been captured and transported to the Cruciform to help the Daleks win the Time War.
  • At least one character will die, as their "journey" comes to an "end". This is likely to be Donna, as Catherine Tate has confirmed that she is leaving at the end of the series. (Also highly unlikely as footage on Youtube shows the Doctor outside Donna's house during the last couple of scenes, and Donna is in some sort of distress before being taken into the house).
  • Donna will sacrifice herself to seal the breach in the Void and allow Rose to be with the Doctor again.
  • The Doctor splits in two in the dying moments of the episode. Unlikely as in the 2008 Christmas Special there is just one Doctor.
  • Sylvia & Wilfred are killed by Dalek.(Also not true as the last scene before the Doctor walks back into the TARDIS is talking to Wilf outside there home, without Donna being there).
  • Gwen, Ianto, Rhys or PC Andy could make a cameo appearance. Only Gareth David Lloyd (Ianto) has hinted at a cameo appearance.
  • Other characters rumoured to make an appearance are Francine, Tish, Leo, Clive, Pete and Jake
  • One HUGE rumour is that Geoff Noble will make a cameo appearance, in a scene filmed by Howard Attfield for Partners in Crime before he passed away. Russell T. Davies has edited the scene to make it look like Geoff is talking to Donna from beyond the grave...
  • The Judoon will appear.
  • Episode 12 is called War On Skaro - apparently proved by a 'War on Skaro' toy range being made available on http://www.play.com
  • Rumours are going around that Davros is sealed within the Medusa Cascade and that is the reason that the doctor sealed it to begin with.
  • Donna dies
  • Martha leaves with Captain Jack for Torchwood.
  • In a promo picture a Dalek with two guns can be seen

Dalek television stories
For the purposes of this list, a "Dalek story" is one in which one living, authentic Dalek plays a part within the confines of the story, outside of flashbacks to previous stories and cliffhangers that lead into the following story. For this reason, stories such as The Space Museum are not counted due to the Daleks' appearance being defined by their importance to following stories, while stories such as The Wheel in Space and The Waters of Mars are absent due to the Daleks' only contribution being references to past Dalek stories. Stories like The Wedding of River Song, Hell Bent, Once, Upon Time and The Vanquishers are also not included due to the Daleks' appearance being restricted to a single scene of no consequence to the plot of the story, while the TV movie is also absent due to the Daleks only being heard from off-screen.
