The 13th episode of Totally Doctor Who's first series premiered on the Thursday before the BBC One debut of Doomsday. It featured Elisabeth Sladen and Raji James.

Due to coverage of the Wimbledon Championships on BBC One, this episode was broadcast on BBC Two.

This weeks studio guests were:

To celebrate the series finale Totally Doctor Who holds a fancy dress party.

The Daleks and the Cybermen battle it out in the boxing ring for the title of "Supreme Being". In the red corner is Nick Briggs (speaking through his ring modulator) representing the Daleks and in the blue corner is Paul Kasey (in costume) representing the Cybermen; both have a boxing towel and boxing gloves around their necks. Liz is the ring announcer and Camille Coduri is the referee. There are three rounds with Camille asking both competitors questions and the result a draw.

Barney interviews the two Companion Academy finalists Jamie & Louise, on the Totally sofa, before letting them interview Raji James.

At the end of the show the children parade their Doctor Who costumes down a catwalk:

  • Felix is a Cyber-Leader, he made his costume with help from his dad.
  • Owen is a Cyberman, he made his costume with help from his dad.
  • Owen is a Kung Fu monk.
  • Callum Ewens is the Werewolf.
  • Jessie Harford & Alexander Rennie are both the Doctor.
  • Juliet & Harry Cartwright are Clockwork Droids.
  • Molly is a Cat Nurse.
  • Jessica Bateman is K9, her mum made the costume for her.
  • Joel is a Dalek, which his dad built for him.

The exclusive preview clip from Doomsday is played over the end credits, in lieu of the usual next time... trailer.

Viewer competition[[edit] | [edit source]]

Nicholas Briggs offers viewers a Dalek t-shirt and a Dalek keyring[1] as this weeks prizes.

To enter viewers have to watch TV: Doomsday and answer the following question:

  • In the new series of Doctor Who the Daleks, unusually, have names. What is the name of the black Dalek?

Entries had to be marked "Competition" and could posted[2] or emailed[3] in, but had to be received by 11 July 2006.

The previous week's competition winner is revealed to be James Windows, from Middlesex.

This weeks Question Master is Raji James and the prize is a photo of the Doctor, Jackie, Yvonne Hartman & Dr Rajesh Singh signed to the winner, both also get a CBBC goodie bag; the contenders are Paige Davies-Helme & Jessica Korzeniowska.

The final scores are Paige 6 and Jessica 6, which leads to a tiebreaker question.

  • Tiebreaker question: "To the nearest year, when do the Doctor & Rose arrive in Scotland in the episode with the werewolf?"

Paige answers "1880" and Jessica answers "1863". The correct answer is 1879 meaning Paige is the closest and is crowned Who-Ru.

The two remaining cadets are each asked 3 Doctor Who questions in turn. Each question they answer correctly they are one step closer to the TARDIS doors.

Jamie's questions

  1. How did the Doctor stop the time vortex from killing Rose?
  2. Captain Jack and Rose shared a dance on top of Jack's spaceship, but what famous landmark were they dancing in front of?
  3. What name did Captain Jack call the Doctor the first time they met?

Louise's questions

  1. What piece of furniture did Mickey hold up to defend Rose and Jackie from the spinning Christmas tree?
  2. What item did Rose give back to the Doctor when they argued about saving her dad's life?
  3. What was the technical term the Doctor used to describe the way he fixed Rose's mobile phone, so she could call home?

Jamie answered 2 questions correctly and Louise answered all 3, Louise wins and steps into the TARDIS and it dematerialises.
